Urban economics deals with the economic aspects of planning and managing settlements. In the urban economics group, we are concerned with the economic characteristics of the development of settlements, and in particular with costs which arise and resources that enable development. These resources are in particular: compensation for the use of building land, real estate taxes and public utility contributions. In addition, we also advise local communities on the management of assets, especially constructed public assets.
